This is my first version of my double page spread for my music magazine 'beats.' I have used the research I have done into magazine double page spreads and included a selection of things from each, for example I decided to have one whole side of my double page spread as one of the photos that i was considering to use for my front cover as i think that it is more appropiate for my double page spread. I also decided to include a 'you should know' feature as this jsut adds something the page with the picture as otherwise it would just be a picture that would lose it's effectiveness if it was just standing alone on one side of the double page spread.
In this version of my double page spread i attempted to have the letters sD behind in the interview text on the left hand side of the double page, i wanted to have a very light grey colour so that you could only just see the text, unfortunetly i have made the letters too light and therefore they cannot be made out very well. In my next version of this spread i will try to make the letters darker and therefore they will easier to read.
