This is an update on my front cover so far, after reviewing my first post of my magazine I decided that I wasn't using the space that was available for the writing as before the writing was going over the band members rather than over the wall. I have moved the writing around to find the best places to have the writing while still showing the band members and using the space available the most efficiently. I also changed the cover story as I think that it is more appropiate,
Your front cover is very good. I like the positioning of the bar code because it is located where people would usually expect it to be making it seem like a professional magazine. However I do not see a cover price, so I would not know how much to pay for the magazine.
ReplyDeleteThe feature article photo is very cool because I see many modern music magazines with a single image for their front cover with other smaller pictures over it. The large picture further suggests that the magazine is made by a professional.
Unfortunately, I cannot see an issue number either
As for the masthead, I think that the fact that the whole thing is in lower case but at the same time more in your face making it very noticeable I also like the fonts because it makes it reflect the genre of music the magazine will feature.

I really like this front cover! The title is very strong and bold and would stand out on a shelf. The barcode is exactly where it should be and it looksvery professional. I do not see a cover price due to the size of the photograph on the blog. I like the plugs showing free posters to entice the customer.
ReplyDelete'The ultimate music magazine' is in quite a dull colour so doesnt really stand out. I love the photo on the front and looks very modern and fits in with the magazines today. The exclusive part is very bold and so stands out and makes me want to read it.
Overall I think this front cover is great! Well done and I wish you the best of luck in all your indevers.
