Media institutions form a large part of the overall production and distribution process of magazines, distributions hundreds of thousands of magazines around the UK every day. I have created a revenue projection for my magazine which can be seen below.
Each individual institution often focus on a different type of magazine, for example, a particular institution would publish several magazines to do with fashion and another would publish magazines about lifestyles.

After looking at different websites to see what media institution would be best to suited to publishing my music magazine, “beats.” I came to the conclusion that I would use the media institution ‘Conde Nast’. Conde Nast is an American company and is part of the Company Advance Publications, it was founded in 1905 and is currently one of the most popular publishing houses in the world.

Even though Conde Nast doesn’t currently own any music magazine, I believe that the strength of my magazine will enable it to be a strong competitor in the market while being published by Conde Nast. Another reason that I believe Conde Nast is the right distributor for my music magazine is because I believe that due to my magazine being different from anything that they currently distribute it will create a new line of marketing for the institution, I believe that it will work well up against the lifestyle and celebrity magazines that they already are producing.
